The project is slated to go into production in fall 2003. The book, published in 2000, is based on the story of an American nurse who goes to the Philippines in search of her son, only to get caught in the middle of a guerrilla (sic) uprising. Craig Corman, Roger Corman's nephew and Gene Corman's son, will pen the script and direct on location in the Philippines. The pact was sealed with Milrose Publications.
